Fada's self-propelled heavy-duty transfer trolleys can be controlled by operators in 4 different ways. Additionally there is also the option for autonomous use (AGV). For operator-controlled trolleys, the choice of control option depends on the following factors:

The Working Environment of The Trolley: Indoor Only, Outdoor Only, or Both
The Length of The Routes The Trolley Needs to Travel
The Required Speed of The Trolley
The Work Cycles or Shifts of The Trolley: Few Hours Per Shift or 24/7 Operation
The Type of Steering Equipped On The Trolley

Wired Control

Wired control panel is the easiest, cheapest, and most reliable way to control a Fada transfer trolley. In this case, the trolley is controlled with a fixed wired control panel.

The operator must be in proximity to the self-propelled vehicle (2 or 3 meters). This type of control is suitable for trolleys that do not need to travel long distances. The operator must walk alongside the trolley and stay close by. The trolley operates at a low speed level and is suitable for work cycles that are not too demanding in terms of continuous operating hours.

The wired control panel is often provided as a backup device for customers who prefer remote-controlled devices as their primary option.

Remote Control

Remote control is the most commonly used control method by Fada. In this case, communication between the control panel and the trolley occurs remotely through a receiver installed on board the trolley.

Since no connection cable is required, the operator can efficiently control the self-propelled vehicle by quickly positioning themselves for optimum visibility without any equipment limiting movement. Remote control is particularly suitable for omnidirectional trolleys, which can steer in any direction, allowing them to turn on the spot and work in very narrow spaces. The operator must be free to move and position themselves as required.

Since the operator is not required to follow the vehicle step by step and can stay at a certain distance, the remote control option is also more suitable for trolleys with slightly more intense work cycles.

On-Board Driver - Cabin Inside

For long routes and relatively high speeds, Fada transfer trolleys can be equipped with a special driver's cabin. In this case, the operator sits in a comfortable cockpit inside the cabin and can control the vehicle comfortably and safely.

The cabin can be designed to be partially open or fully enclosed. A fully enclosed cabin with climate control is ideal for outdoor operations where the operator is exposed to varying weather conditions.

This solution is often preferred by customers as an option for demanding operating conditions. Fada's trolley cabins can be customized to meet the customer's load and size requirements; additionally, these vehicles can be adapted for battery-powered operation, completely eliminating pollution and offering a fully green solution for in-plant transportation.

Autonomous Control

Autonomous control systems offer significant advantages for industrial enterprises by enabling transfer vehicles to self-navigate without operator intervention. These systems enhance workplace safety by eliminating the need for operators to be in hazardous environments. They also allow operations to be carried out more efficiently by eliminating delays caused by human errors. Consequently, they increase productivity and reduce costs for businesses.

Furthermore, autonomous control systems minimize environmental impact by using eco-friendly energy storage solutions such as lithium batteries. These systems optimize energy usage by calculating the most efficient routes and speed profiles. Thus, they contribute to the sustainability goals of businesses, reducing environmental impact and minimizing adverse effects on nature.

Autonomous Control - Magnetic Track Guided

Magnetic track guided system enhances the efficiency and reduces the operational costs of manufacturing facilities by enabling transfer vehicles to perform safe and precise transportation operations.

The magnetic track guided system is an intelligent technology that allows transfer vehicles to move precisely along a predetermined path. This system consists of magnetic sensors integrated into the transfer vehicles and magnetic strips placed on a specially designed track. The transfer vehicle follows the magnetic strip, moving along the designated route, and thus safely performs transportation operations to the desired locations.
