POWER SUPPLY & MOTOR

POWER SUPPLY AND MOTOR

One of the key factors affecting the performance of transfer carts used in transportation operations outside of highways is the power supply and type of engine used in the transfer cart.

Energy Source: Fada proposes 3 different energy sources:

Battery Powered Transfer Carts
Diesel Powered Transfer Carts
Hybrid Transfer Carts

Motor Types: 2 different types of motors are used:

Electric motors
Hydraulic motors

Fada provides the design, manufacturing, and supply of transfer carts powered by the various energy sources mentioned above. However, in industrial applications where sustainability is becoming increasingly important, the majority of companies are now seeing, understanding, and opting for the benefits of battery-powered electric motors.

Battery-powered transfer carts are one of the most popular options for heavy industry because they offer many advantages over their diesel counterparts. Ensuring high performance and long-term use, battery technology has become one of our areas of expertise.

BENEFITS OF BATTERY-POWERED HEAVY LOAD TRANSPORT CARTS

Zero Carbon Emissions: Battery-powered transfer carts do not create pollution. Therefore, they can be used indoors and outdoors without restriction!

Zero Noise Pollution: Electric motors are much quieter than diesel motors, providing a quieter working environment. Thanks to this feature, businesses can have a quiet working environment 24/7!

Cost Savings:  Electricity is cheaper than diesel! This reduces annual company expenses and lowers costs per km and hour. The savings provided contribute to the effective use of financial resources, benefiting the company in the medium and long term.

Low Maintenance Costs: Battery-powered electric motors require almost no maintenance. This provides a clear advantage in terms of cost and efficiency.

Remote Monitoring and Control:
Especially using lithium batteries, batteries can be configured and monitored remotely to track operating hours, usage, wear, and tear, reducing downtime.

These benefits contribute significantly to preparing businesses for the future in terms of lower costs, higher efficiency, and corporate social responsibility.

Electric traction motors have replaced hydraulic motors in today's industrial applications. The use of electric motors managed by PLC and the latest generation of inverters offers many benefits and high efficiency to businesses.

BENEFITS OF ELECTRIC MOTOR-DRIVEN TRANSFER CARTS

Cost Savings: The cost per km or hour is lower compared to hydraulic motors. Electric motors, whether directly driven by a battery or diesel generator, are more efficient than a hydrostatic transmission system.

Zero Noise Pollution: Electric motors are significantly quieter than motors powered by a hydraulic pump, reducing factory noise pollution.

Cleaner: Electric motors do not leak oil! Therefore, electric vehicles are cleaner and more environmentally friendly, keeping factory floors clean.

Zero Maintenance Requirement: PMAC electric motors require minimal maintenance, with qualified electricians being able to provide necessary support in the rare instances when maintenance is needed. In contrast, hydraulic systems demand frequent maintenance and rely on the expertise of skilled hydraulic technicians for support.

Remote Monitoring:  Electric motors equipped with sensors enable precise control. Remote monitoring and management capabilities provide better control, diagnostics, and reliability while minimizing downtime. These features are not available with hydraulic motors.

Safety: ETransfer carts driven by electric motors guarantee a much higher level of safety than those with hydraulic motors. Electric motors have all the built-in safety features and components provided by major automation component manufacturers (Siemens, SICK, and others).

Due to the reasons mentioned above, Fada transfer carts are generally preferred to be equipped with lithium batteries and electric motors. Because these technologies offer many advantages compared to alternatives.
