25 TON CAPACITY MOLD TRANSPORT CART FOR PRESS LINE OPERATIONS

Customer Need: Safe Mold Transportation in Narrow Areas

Toyotetsu Gebze, a manufacturer producing sheet metal components for the automotive industry, operates with large press lines and heavy molds. The company needed an efficient solution to transport press molds weighing up to 25 tons between production lines. The transportation route included extremely narrow areas, requiring a system with excellent maneuverability and precise positioning capability.

Project Challenges: Narrow Spaces and Pandemic Conditions

The main challenge of the project was transferring press molds through highly confined spaces. In addition, the process took place during the pandemic, resulting in supply chain issues. Despite these difficulties, the problems were resolved through reliable suppliers and proper engineering planning.

Our Solution: High-Maneuverability Mold Transport Cart

FADA developed a customized 25-ton capacity transfer cart equipped with a hydraulic lifting system and a four-wheel steering structure. This design allowed operators to maneuver easily in narrow areas and accurately position the molds directly in front of the press line.

Project Result: Efficient and Reliable Material Transport

The project was successfully completed and delivered. The customer is now able to transport all press molds smoothly and safely between lines.
