Customer Requirement: High-Capacity Liquid Chemical Transport
Hicri Ercili is a company that produces chemical materials for treatment plants and operates multiple shipyard facilities. They approached us with a special requirement to transport liquid chemical materials. The machine used in their production area fills chemicals into baskets, which are then stacked up to 10 levels, reaching a total weight of 30 tons. The customer needed a solution capable of transporting this liquid material safely and in full compatibility with their existing handling stands.
Project Challenges: High Capacity and Sensitive Load Handling
The primary challenge was the safe and stable transportation of high-volume liquid chemicals. The transfer cart needed to enter beneath the existing carrying stands, which required a maximum height of 600–650 mm. The height had to be minimized to prevent oscillation or spillage of the liquid load.
Our Solution: Battery-Powered, Four-Wheel Steering Transfer Cart
FADA developed a customized battery-powered transfer cart with a hydraulic lifting system, capable of transporting approximately 30 tons of liquid chemicals. The four-wheel steering system offers excellent maneuverability in narrow areas, while the soft acceleration structure, safety sensors, and protective bumpers ensure safe operation with minimized collision and spill risks.
Project Summary: Innovation and Efficiency
This project played a significant role in optimizing the company’s production processes and enhancing safety. The specially designed transfer cart enabled the safe and efficient transportation of high-capacity liquid chemicals, increasing overall operational efficiency. With its battery-powered system, the solution offered both energy savings and an environmentally friendly approach.
Additionally, the cart was designed with the necessary infrastructure to operate autonomously in the future. Discussions for four additional vehicles are ongoing, with the goal of implementing autonomous operation to reduce human error and improve efficiency.
