On November 28, 2025, during the ÜSİMP National Congress–Exhibition–Symposium held at METU CCC, FADA successfully presented its university–industry collaboration project supported by the TÜBİTAK 2209/B program.

The project, titled “Investigation of Load Distribution in Container Lifting Spreaders with Finite Element Analysis and Structural Optimization”, includes significant analysis and optimization studies aimed at making container lifting systems safer, more efficient, and more durable.

The project team from Sakarya University Mechanical Engineering DepartmentEmirhan Çakmak, Emre Aytekin, and Ahmet Kaan Özbey—shared the project process and findings with the participants. Academic supervision was provided by Dr. Osman İyibilgin from the same department.

Representing FADA, İsmail Hakkı Akyüz and Esmanur Kılıç actively contributed to the project by ensuring industrial application requirements, performing technical validations, and supporting the R&D processes.

This collaboration not only strengthened the students’ hands-on engineering experience but also highlighted FADA’s R&D vision and its contribution to sectoral innovation.

FADA continues to develop joint projects with universities, support the training of young engineers, and produce initiatives that contribute to the future of the industry.
